It takes 10 days for 2 people working 5 hours a day to finish it.

Solution:

10 road workers take 5 days to complete a work when working 2 hours a day

⇒ 10 workers takes time to complete the work = 10 \times 5 \times 2 = 100 hours

But according to question we have to find out the number of days , if 2 workers work 5 hours a day

Total time taken by these 2 workers per day = 10 hours

But we have to find out the number of days,  these 2 people take time to complete the work = (total time to complete this work)/ (Time taken by these 2 per day)

\frac{100}{10}

= 10 days

Total days taken by these 2 workers =  10 days

Another method to find is:

\frac{men \times days \times hours}{work}

Equating 10 road workers 5 days to complete working 2 hours a day and 2 people working 5 hours taking "x" days to complete

\frac{10 \times 5 \times 2}{1} = \frac{2 \times 5 \times x}{1}\\\\x = 10

Total days taken by 2 people = 10 days
