Step-by-step explanation:

If 4 men can do a job in 30 hours how many men would be required for 9 hours to complete the same job?

If 4 men can do a job in 30 hours, it means that the work requires the input of 4*30 = 120 man-hours.

So, if you wish to complete the same work in 9 hours you will need, 120 man-hours/ 9 hours = 13.33 men.

So engage 14 men for the first 8 hours and then have just one man for the last hour.

4 men=9 hrs

after completion of 6 hrs 1 man leaves,then;

1 man=9×4

3 mens work=36÷3

=12 hrs-6hrs

=6hrs

answer is 6 hrs.
