It takes 400 seconds for a train to completely cross two points A and B which are at a distance of 7.8 km.
Determine the speed of the trains, if the length of the train is 200 m?
Note: Assume that the values that are obtained after the decimal point are neglected.

Answer:

Given that,

length=200m

=200/1000 =0.2km

distance 7.8+0.2=8km

time=400sec

=400/3600 =1/9hours

speed distance/time

-8/(1/9)

=8*9

= 72km/hr
