hours. machines book

60. 24. 1

h. 32. 1

(60x24 )/32h=1/1

32h =60×24

h =60x24/32=60×3/4=15×3=45

45 hrs

sahnaz79: bt ans should be 80
guider69: 45
srujanaher14: Wait I have not understood the question

As, they are in direct propotional,

x1/y1 = x2/y2

x1= 24 x2= 32

y1= 60 y2=?

By substituting the formula,

24/60 = 32/y2

By cross multiplication,

24 y2= 1920

y2 = 1920/24

y2= 80

Therefore, it takes 80 hours for 32 machines to print the same book

guider69: They are in inverseproportion
x1/x2=y2/y1
x1=24 x2=32
y1=60 y2=?
By substituting the formula
24/32=y2/60
By cross multiplication
32y2=24×60
32y2=1440
y2=1440/32
y2=45hours
sahnaz79: okk
