The longitudinal differnce between the places
= (50 + 120) ° [ As, opposite directions sum up]
= 170°
So time difference = 170* 4 min
[ As, 1° longitudinal difference = 4 mins time difference ]
therefore, time diff. =680 min
= 11 hrs 20 min
Since ,we go east so time difference is subtracted from given time
So, time at the place 120° east
= 5 pm - 11 hrs 20 min
= 17 hrs - 11 hrs 20 min
= 5 hrs 40 min
=5 . 40 am (the same day)
