It was a bright night. People, cheerful and gaily dressed, strolled around the fair, listening to sound of drums that are usually played during the festival. However, children were playing with crackers. The girls were busy in decorating their houses; they also decorated their rooms with beautiful color paper lanterns. That was giving them glamorous look. It was a Diwali night.
