It was a long time ago
I have almost forgotten my drerde
But it was there then
In front of me
My dream
And then the wall rose
Rose slowly
Slowly
Between me and my dream
Rose until it touched the sky
The wall
Shadow
I am black
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me
Only the thick wall
Only the shadow
My hands!
My dark hands!
Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me to shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,
Into a thousand whirling' dreams
Of sun!
what words suggest that the speaker will not give into the darkness

The words used in the phrases , "Break through the wall", "Find my dream", "shatter this darkness", "smash this night", "break this shadow", and

"thousand lights of sun","thousand whirling dreams" suggest that.

The words in the above phrases indicate that the speaker is able to break through the wall where the wall indicates an obstacle in his path.

"Darkness" ,"shadow" and "night" indicate his fears and the feeling of desolation through which he breaks through and suggests him not giving in to darkness.

"Thousand lights of sun" and "thousand whirling dreams" indicate him being able to smash darkness and letting in sunlight which indicates hope.

Thousand whirling dreams suggest him being able to finally achieve all the dreams he wants.
