It was around 12 O'clock at night when i suddenly got up from deep sleep because I heard a strange noise. I couldn't figure out where that noise came from. I got up from the bed to drink some water but before I could even step on the floor another peculiar noise of whispering was heard by my ears. I was completely horrified for who could whisper at this time as my parents and brother were asleep. I, being a brave person, decided to take a dating step by opening my room's door from where those strange noises were coming. I was completely left in shock, when I opened the door as I saw all my cousins and relative standing there with gifts and cake and they started to sing Happy Birthday song.. well, who knew it would be them..

Last night was a hot one. I slept with open windows. It was 1 o'clock, I was dark and I heard a loud noise in my room. I woke up and looked around then I got a blurry glimpse of a man trying to enter my room through the open window. I was frightened. The man had a torch in his hand. With the help of a torchlight, he located the switchboard of my room and he was walking towards it. I gathered all my courage, and I found my mobile near my pillow by keeping the mobile under the bedsheet I made a call to my father, he was sleeping in the room next to mine.

My father quickly came to my room and when he opened the door of my room the thief tried to escape after hearing the door sound. When I saw the thief trying to escape then I threw my metallic water bottle targeting his head to hit hard. The target was a close one as the bottle hit his neck and he fell down outside the window and my father also jumped outside from the window and caught that thief. Then we called the police immediately and handed over the thief to the police.
