We know that  

Mf = calculated molecular mass

Mo = observed molecular mass

Now α = Mf – Mo / Mo

So theoretical mass of Pcl5 (phosphorous penta chloride = 208.2)

Observed molecular mass = 62 x mol wt of hydrogen

                                          = 62 x 2

                                           = 124

Now α = 208.2 – 124 / 124

           = 0.6814

           = 68.14 %
