Helen Keller was a child with double disability. When she was just 19 months old, she lost her eyesight and hearing. This created a major problem in her life. Although she was able to read and write, she could just use the books with raised letters. During her stay in the Cambridge school, she wasn't provided with the embossed books. She started studying when the embossed books arrived. It was very difficult for her as the teacher gave instructions orally and so Miss Sullivan had to write everything on her hand and explain it to her. She wasn't as able to make notes. So, she had to make them after her school was over. In her final exam for entering the Redcliff Collage, she had to pass out in very little hours which was difficult for her as she had double disability problem. Despite the stones which came in her way, she was able to overturn all of them and was able to pass out with flying colors. Helen was finally able to get the admission in the Redcliff Collage. It was all due to her, Miss Sullivan and all her teachers' hard work and dedication.
