Iron has higher mass than aluminium and please not the point that volume does not play any role in deciding the weight of the substance. Thus the gravitational force acting on iron will be higher compared to that of aluminium. The iron that possesses more gravitational force experiences less upthrust compared to that of aluminium. There is one more reason for this. The iron having more mass is more denser and the aluminium is less denser than iron. Objects that are lighter experience more upthrust compared to the objects that are heavier.

As we know
1. Iron has higher mass than aluminium.
2. There is no need of volume so do not see volume.
3. Then the gravitational force acting on iron will be higher compared to that of aluminium because iron have the more mass then aluminum .
4.The iron that possesses more gravitational force experiences less upthrust compared to that of aluminium.
5. There is one more reason for this. The iron having more mass is more denser and the aluminium is less denser than iron.
6.Objects that are lighter experience more upthrust compared to the objects that are heavier.
So they will not experience equal up thrust
Hope it helps you!!!
