It was a rainy day and I was alone at home. Suddenly I heard someone knocking at the door. I just went and peeped through the eyehole to see who was there but couldn't find anybody.I did not open the door and went back to my room. Next, I heard someone tapping repeatedly on my windows. Now, I started shivering in fear but I gathered all courage and went ahead.I was determined to call the police if I find any abnormal situation. I went upstairs and peeped from the windows and saw two people standing but couldn't recognise them as they were covered in raincoats. I gathered courage and moved out with a knife in my hand but as soon as I opened the door, many people rushed in and started clapping "Happy birthday".They were none other than my family and friends and they had arranged this surprise on my birthday. It was certainly one of the best birthdays of my life as it was the most unexpected one. I thought nobody remembered my birthday this time but they made me spellbound.We enjoyed the entire day with lots of food and gossips. It was a different kind of happiness altogether.
