It was that defining moment which atlered the course of my life
Changes keep taking place in our lives and we often remain oblivious of them. We go with the flow and consider it to be the same and monotonous but rarely realise the changes taking place around us. I was also quite oblivious of my surroundings and kept focussing on myself everytime.
I had all the basic necessities but kept complaining about the things that I missed in life. One day when I was in a rush, I hit a lady on the road with my car. She lay on the road wounded and no one came forward to help her. I was guilty and didn't know what to do.
She had an infant with her and it kept crying on the road. It was the first time that I felt for somebody and decided to help the lady considering myself responsible for the accident. I took her to the hospital and to my shock she expired. The infant was in my arms and it kept on crying.
I was spellbound and shocked about the whole matter. The infant would be called an orphan now. I was terribly hurt and decided to adopt it. It was that defining moment which atlered the course of my life. A selfish and self centred lady like me started living for another life. Life changed forever!
