Answer:

The answer is Sir Charles Barry.

Explanation:

Sir Charles Barry, the son of a stationery, was hired by a company of investigators and architects until 1817 when he traveled to France, Greece, Italy, Egypt, Turkey and Palestine to study architecture.

One of his first works was the Church of St. Peter in Brighton, which  began in the 1820s.

In 1832 he completed the Travelers Club at Pall Mall. This is the first building in the style of an Italian Renaissance palace  built in London.

In the same style, on a larger scale, he founded a remodeling club (1837–41).

He  also worked in numerous private villas in London,  completed in the 1850s.

In Birmingham, one of his finest works, the School of King Edward, was built in the vertical Gothic style between 1833 and 1837.
