It was a wintery night, everyone was sleeping in the house. Only I kept away as I had some work and also wanted to enjoy the snowfall.
There was a knock on the door. I was frightened. When I looked at the clock, it stroke 3 a.m. With trembling hands, I opened the door. There was a person with a jacket on his body and was partially covered with snow. I quickly switched on the lights and I was able to see his face clearly. When I saw him, a number of emotions were running through my nerves. I was happy, crying, amazed and relaxed. He was nobody else other than my big brother who got in the army before 5 years and we had not seen him after that time.
I took him in, informed everyone, served him hot coffee and we talked the complete night. I was so happy to meet him that I forgot my work, sleep and hunger.
Answer:
It was a cold night, and everyone was inside sleeping. Only I stayed away since I needed to do some work and wanted to take in the snowfall. A knock on the door was heard. I was terrified. It was 3 a.m. when I looked at the clock. I shook my hands as I tried to open the door. There was a dude there who had some snow on him and was wearing a jacket.
Explanation:
I was sound asleep in my bed on a chilly winter night when I heard a knock at my window. For a short while after awakening, I believed I was dreaming. When I heard the same knock again, this time louder, I realized I wasn't dreaming. In order to assess the issue, I had to get out of bed. I had the distinct feeling that someone was observing my every move. When I turned around and noticed a man in my window staring directly at me, my heart began to race. He had on a cap and a black trench coat. As soon as we locked eyes, he began smashing my window. I attempted to cry for aid, but nothing came out. My fear left me speechless.
In the hopes that he would simply leave, I sprinted into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. When I tried to call 911 while using my cell phone, I always received a busy signal. The man quickly made his way inside my home and began pounding on the bathroom door. I heard a door slam shut after a few minutes. I opened the door and had a peek around as soon as I felt secure. I was aware of this person's motivations, but I was unsure of what they were. My drawers had all been opened, and there were clothing all over the floor. Both my bedding and the special box containing my father's ring were transferred. Was the man who came into my home searching for my family's ring? How was he able to locate it? Was he observing me all along from my apartment window?
Why would he pursue the one thing I had left? Although it was worthless, I held it in the highest regard. My daddy has worn a hammer ring ever since I can remember. I awoke when there was a loud banging on my door. Or did I actually faint from fright, or was I only dreaming? I regained consciousness after a little while and looked about my residence. My things were organized in my drawers properly, and there was no smashed window. I was utterly terrified by the experience because it seemed so genuine to me at the time.
When a loved one passes away, we attempt to hold onto their possessions in the consoling belief that there is still a piece of them with us. His ring gives me the impression that he is guarding me from above. To ensure that it never gets lost or stolen, I now wear it around my neck every single day. After I stopped having that nightmare, I now frequently see him in his bed in my sleep. I hope the old memories will return to my head someday since I don't want to think about that sight.
