Its a right angled triangle base is 50m and height is 30m find the other side.

Answer:

Using Pythagoras Theorem

AC2=AB2+BC2

502=AB2+402

2500−1600=AB2

⇒AB2=900

⇒AB=30m

Area =11⊥×AB×AC

=21×40×30=600m2.

Here the base and height of a right-angled triangle is given

base = 50 m

Height = 30 m

We have to the other side that is the hypotenuse of the triangle

Using Pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse² = Base² + Height²

Hypotenuse² = 50² + 30²

Hypotenuse = 2500 + 900

Hypotenuse = 3400

Hypotenuse = √3400

                  = 58.30m

Hence, the other side will measure 58.30 m
