Hey there,

● Answer -
Bismuth

● Explanation -
- Bismuth has much lower melting point than many metals (271°C).
- Wood's metal (Lipowitz alloy) is an alloy of Bismuth(50%), Lead(25%), Tin(13%) and Cadmium (12%).
- Because of Bismuth as a constituent, this alloy has much lesser melting point(70%).
- When used in fire sprinkler system, it readily detects hot gases from fire and opens up valve that allows water to push out.

Hope this helps you...
