Answer:

Hi there mate!!

let me help you

see, in these type of questions, the first thing you must do is to look for identities. As we can see, there is no such identity used here right now. So lets solve it.

(x +0.5) +1/2[3x -1/3] =1/3(x+1)

(x+5/10) + 1/2[ {(3x × 3)-(1)}/3] = (x + 1)/3

(x/2) + 1/2[( 9x-1)/3] =(x + 1)/3

(x/2 ) + (9x -1/ 6) = (x + 1)/3

LCM=6( LEFT HAND SIDE)

(3x + 9x - 1)/6 = (x + 1)/3

(12x-1)/6 = (x + 1)/3

shift 3 from LHS to RHS

(12x-1)/6 × 3= (x + 1)

(12x -1)/2 = x +1

shift 1 from LHS to RHS

(12x-1)/2 - 1 = x

(12x -1 -2 )/ 2 = x

shift 2 from RHS to LHS

12x -3 =2x

-3= 2x-12x

-3= -10x

3=10x

3/10 =x

0.3 =x
