its difficult to burn a heap of green leaves but dry leaves catch fire easily explain

green leaves contain moisture, while dry leaves do not. as a result, the ignition temperature of green leaves becomes more than that of dry leaves.

Green leaves contain MUCH MORE MOISTURE than those of dry leaves......So, the heap of dry leaves will need more heat so as to vapourise the moisture and burn it.........but it is not in the case of dry leaves ......that is there will be no need to vapourise.......resulting in much faster catching of fire.......
