No its not true..because the line ends up on 1 and 2 points so the second quadrant should have to touch 2 on y axis

These points are collinear, this means their slopes are equal :

we will find the Slopes :

⇒ AB = y2 - y1/x2 - x1 = 0 - 2/0 - 1

⠀ ⠀= - 2/- 1 = 2

⇒ BC = b - 0/a - 0 = b/a

Both are Equal, Now :

↠ 2 = b/a

↠ b = 2a

This is the relation b/w a and b.
