Join CO.
After that angle BOC = 2times angle BAC i.e. angle a.
So OD is the bisector of angle BOC.
So when BOC is bisected, angle BOD = angle A..

Here is your answer dear:-
Construction:-- Join OC
Now, OB = OD = OC
(since they are the radius of the circle)
Therefore, angle BDO = angle ODC= angle OBD = angle OCD.
( angles opposite to equal sides are equal)
From above angle BOD = angle DOC.
We know the, angle formed in the centre us double the angle formed on the circumference.
i.e. Angle BOC = 2 angle A
=>angle BOD + angle DOC = angle A + angle A
Hence, Angle A = Angle BOD = Angle DOC proved.
