ITS URGENT! A TRAIN TRAVELS BETWEEN TWO STATION 'A' AND 'B', a distance of 108 km in 45 minutes. It passes through station C, 40 minutes after leaving A . What is the distance between B and C?

Distance covered in 45 min =108km

Therefore distance covered in 40 min =108÷45×40

=96

Therefore distance covered in 40 minutes is 96 km.

In the remaining 5 minutes the train has reached point B and because it is given that the train travels from point A to point B in 45 minutes.

Therefore the distance between B and C is 108-96=12km.
