The resultant resistance of 3, 4, 12 ohm connected in parallel is,

R = 3/2 ohm

Now, first lamp, P= 100 , V=220

R = (220)(220)/100 = 22×22 = 484ohm

second lamp, P=60 , V=220

R= (220)(220)/60 = 806.6 ohm

Now, equivalent resistance of lamps,

R' = 320.5 (approx)

The current drawn from supply will be,

i = V/R' = 220/320.5 = 0.68 A
