The IUPAC name of the above compound is 1-BUTANOL.
It is because first we select the longest carbon chain and it is numbered from the side nearest to the functional group which is OH in this case. The only chain consists of four carbon atoms which goes to BUTA and the functional group OH is designated as OL hence the name butanol.
