it is an alkene. each corner has a carbon atom and the vertex where two or more lines meet.

if the valence of the cabin atom must be satisfied, it should be filled with hydrogen.

you can see that the right top vertex has double bond with oxygen and if carbon atom is placed in the verter, one hydrogen must be added to satisfy the valency of carbon. so carbon-double bond oxygen-and hydrogen makes "aldehyde". and as it has eight carbon atoms it is octene. it even has aldehyde functional group. so the name is "octenal".
