Given:

Ratio of Ramesh and suresh investment =4:5

Cost price =R.s 1,44,000

profit percent=20%

Solution:

profit= profit%/100 × cost price

profit=20/100 ×1,44,000= R.S 28,000

selling price = cost price +Profit.

=1,44,00+28,000

=R.s 1,72,800

let Suresh be 4x and

Ramesh be 5x.

4x +5x= 1,72,800

9x=1,72,800

x=1,72,800/9=19,200

4x=4×19,200 =76,800

5x=5×19,200=96,000

Suresh got the profit =Rs 76,800.

Ramesh got the profit =Rs 96,000.
