Given:-

Total number of coins = 60

Total value of coins = 195

To find:-

Number of 2 rupees and 5 rupees coins

Solution:-

Let's take the number of 2 rupees coins be x and 5 rupees coins be y,

Therefore,

x + y = 60.... equation 1

2x + 5y = 195.... equation 2

Let's multiply equation 1 by 5

We will get,

5x + 5y = 300.... equation 3

Let's subtract equation 2 from equation 3

5x + 5y = 300

2x + 5y = 195

_____________

3x = 105

3x = 105

x \:  =  \:  \frac{105}{3}

x = 35

Let's put the value of x in equation 1

x + y = 60.... equation 1

35 + y = 60

y = 60 - 35

y = 25

Hence, the number of 2 rupees coin is 35 and number of 5 rupees coins is 25
