While changing a sentence from active to passive, a few things should be kept in mind. They are as follows-

• There is usually an addition of the word 'by' when a sentence is in the passive voice.
• It is usually placed towards the end of the sentence, before the subject.
• However, this can be avoided only when the subject can be easily assumed or guessed.
• The meaning of the sentence should be left untouched.

While changing the voice of a sentence from passive to active, a few things should be kept in mind. They are as follows-

• Usually in sentences that are in passive voice, 'by' is added. It should be removed.
• The subject needs to be mentioned.
• In certain cases in a sentence in passive voice, the subject is omitted as it can be easily guessed. In that case, the subject should be assumed.
• Lastly, the intended meaning of the sentence should not be changed.
