It is necessary that factory waste must treated and neutralized before discharging into water bodies because factory waste contains chemicals which hindered the ph of water it may make it more acidic or more basic either way that is harmful for marine organisms. many marine beings are very sensitive to the ph and it may cost their life if it manipulated after certain limit. factory waste also increases the temperature of water that may also be the reason of death of marine beings. factory waste may also contain certain radioactive toxins that must be removed because if it not than it may enter into food web and due to the courtesy of biomagnification harm human itself. therefore it is must that factory waste treated or neutralized before disposing into the water bodies.
