Answer:

15x+17y=21

17y=21-15x

y=(21-15x)/17

17x+15y=11

17x+ 15 \times  \frac{(21 - 15x)}{17}= 11

 \frac{289x + 315 - 225x}{17}  = 11

64x + 315 = 187

64x = 187 - 315

64x =  - 128

x =  - 2

y = (21 - 15 \times  - 2) \div 17

y = (21 + 30) \div 17

y = 51 \div 17

y = 3
