Houses: houses were two storey and built on the other side of the street the number of the rooms varied from 2 to 20 and each house had a central Courtyard and a bathing area

Streets: The primary or main streets pointed in a north to south direction whereas, secondary Streets are streched from east to west . corners were rounded which means that planners kept the difficulty of turning cart in mind

Drainage system: the drains were watertight which prevented the leakage of the water as a result clogging and overflowing of dirty water was avoided there was an inspection holes and detachable covers which made the process of cleaning easier the house drains were connected to the main drains
