Answer:

1392 sq.m

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of circle+csa of rectangle

perimeter of circle=1232(using the formula 2pie R square

now TSA of the figure=perimeter of circle+csa of rectamgle

                                      1232+2h(l+b)+lh

                                       1232+2*4(8+6)+8*6

                                        1232+112+48

                                         1232+160

                                          1392sq.m

According the question, we have to find out the total surface area of the combined figure.

A hemispherical dome with radius 14m and cuboidal shaped top with dimensions 8m x 6m x 4m                  ( given).

We have to calculate total surface area of the combined figure .

which is (TSA of hemisphere + LSA of cuboid).            ( TSA = Total surface area, LSA=Lateral surface area)

First we calculate TSA of hemisphere

Foumule of TSA of Hemisphere = 3πr²            (π = 22/7  r = 14 = radius)

TSA of Hemisphere = 3(22/7) (14)²

                                   = 1848 m²

In next step we will calculate LSA of Cuboid

Formula of LSA of Cuboid = 2(l + b) h               ( l=8m, b=6m, h=4m)

                     LSA of Cuboid = 2(8 + 6) 4

                     LSA of Cuboid =112 m²

Here we will calculate the total surface area of the combined figure :-

( TSA + LSA) unite²

 = (1848 + 112)m²

 = 1960 m²

Hence the total surface area of the combined figure will be 1960 m².

Ans :- All given options are incorrect. The total surface area of the combined figure will be 1960 m².
