Hello Mate,

A hydrated salt is a salt which has a

number of water molecules associated with the

ions within its crystalline structure..... These water

molecules maybe referred to as the waters of

crystallization or water of hydration....

Examples÷

1• Washing soda (sodium carbonate decahydrate,

Na 2CO 3.10H 20)

2• Glauber's salt (sodium sulfate decahydrate, Na

2SO 4-10H 20)
