To Find : Solve for x
Solution:
x/(x + 2) + 5 = 2
Subtracting 5 from both sides
=> x/(x + 2) + 5 - 5 = 2 - 5
=> x/(x + 2) + 0 = - 3
=> x/(x + 2) = -3
multiply both sides by x + 2
=> x = - 3(x + 2)
=> x = -3x - 6
Adding 3x both sides
=> 4x = - 6
=> x = -6/4
=> x = -3/2 or - 1.5
