Before, finding the answer. Lets find out on how we can find the answer.

  • First, we must subtract both the number.

Given :

Original Price = Rs. 55000

Decreased Price = Rs. 44000

To find :

Deceased Percent

Solution :

Decreased Price = Original Price - New price

= Rs. 55000 - 44000

= Rs. 11000

  \sf Percent = \dfrac{decreased  \: price}{original \: price}  \times 100

 \sf \:  =  \dfrac{11000}{55000}  \times 100

 \sf  =  \dfrac{1100000}{55000}

 \sf  = 20\%

Hence, the Decreased Percent is 20%.
