Answer:

No, Mr Keesing was not a bad or strict teacher because a teacher did something for the welfare of his students. Any teacher would be annoyed if children keep on talking in the class. Secondly, if he had been strict he would not have laughed at Anne’s funny arguments.

Answer:

1) The writer of this story has written it because he want to tell that fear of first step or first flight is common in all living creatures. But the way of handling is not same. Our parents try their best to make is best in field of our life.

2)Before the first flight of seagull , his parent keep cajoling him to make young seagull fly.But he didn't listen them and thought that his wings will not support him if he take the plunge. Therefore his family left him alone on the brink and did not give him food whole day.

However , maddened by sight of food he took the plunge and soon learnt how to fly. Seeing him fly ,his mother appreciated him and give a fish to him as a reward. His father flew over him and appreciated him while his brothers and little sister flew round him curving, diving,in joy.
