Solution :-

given that,

→ Jack = 3 * John

→ Jack/John = 3/1

Let jack completes 3x units and john completes x units daily . also mark mark completes y unit / day.

A/q,

→ 45(Jack + mark) = 60(mark + john)

→ 45(3x + y) = 60(y + x)

→ 135x + 45y = 60x + 60y

→ 135x - 60x = 60y - 45y

→ 70x = 15y

→ x/y = 15/75

→ x/y = 1/5

therefore,

→ Time taken by jack to complete the work = Total work / Efficiency / day = 60(x + y)/3x = 60 * 6/15 = 24 days (Ans)
