Given :- Jack needs 22 pirates for every 2 pirate ships he manages.

Complete the table using equivalent ratios find out the two missing numbers after 22.

Number of pirates :- 22 __ __

Number of ships :- 2 4. 6 .

Solution :-

Given that Jack needs 22 pirates for 2 ships.

we will divide the number of pirates by the number of ships to find out the number of pirates per ship he needs.

So,

for 2 ships he needs = 22 pirates .

→ for per ship he needs = (22/2) = 11 pirates.

Therefore, For each ship, he needs 11 pirates.

Now,

→ For 4 ships, he needs = (11 pirates/ship) * 4 ships = 44 pirates.

→ For 6 ships, he needs = (11 pirates/ship) * 6 ships = 66 pirates.

Hence,

The complete table will be :-

Number of pirates :- 22 44 66.

Number of ships :- 2 4 6 .
