Jack picked a leaf from a plant that was kept in dark for 3-4 days and did the starch test on it. The leaf did not turn blue-black after the test. This may have happened because:​

hello!

as we know, plants do photosynthesis for their food, they also store it for emergencies...

after Jack picked the plant, and kept it in dark, perhaps, it was living BECAUSE it was eating the STORED FOOD which they stored during photosynthesis, and did not feel the STARCH.

thats why they passed the starch test
