Jack was startled, but he wasn’t weak. He slammed his fist into the man’s temple, courtesy of his black belt. The man staggered back, but he wasn’t done. “I’ll kill you!”, he bellowed. He charged at Jack, who knew it was all in vain. He closed his eyes, waiting for the worst to happen. He waited. Nothing. He opened his eyes, to find out that there was no man in sight. It was empty. Jack stared. Was he hallucinating? He would never know, and fell back into the abyss of sleep.
