Jagat bought 50 kg of potatoes for ₹500. He sold the potatoes at ₹15 per kg. What was his profit or loss per cent?

500/50=10. 50*15=750. that is profit. and profit is 250

Cp of 50kg potatoes - ₹500

Cp of 1 kg potatoes - 500/50= ₹10

Sp of 1 kg potatoes - ₹15

Sp is greater than Cp

So, there is profit

Profit = ₹(15-10) =₹5

%gain/ profit =5/10*100 =50%
