Let the number of ten rupee notes= x
therefore , number of five rupee notes = x+3
Total money = 10*(number of ten rupee notes ) + 5 (number of five rupee notes)
= 10*x + 5*(x+3)
=10x +5x +15
=15x + 15
therefore ,15x+15 = 195
15x = 195 - 15
15x = 180 or x = 180/15
x=12
Therefore number of ten rupee notes= 12
hence , number of five rupee notes
= x+3=12 +3=15
Hope this helps you!!

Let x be the 10 Rs notes and y be the 20 Rs rupee notes
Given that total number of notes = 50
x + y = 50 -----------------(1)
And a sum of 800 is in the form of denominations of Rs10 and Rs 20.
10x + 20y = 800
x + 2y = 80 -------------(2)
From (1) and (2) we get
x = 20 and y = 30
∴ 10 Rs notes = 20
20 Rs notes = 30.
