in 24000, 10% is 2400
to find 10% we have to put a point before the last digit of the original number
now we have to find 20%
so multiply the 10% value by 2
the result is 4800 is the house rent
as I said 10% is 2400 in the total 24000
to get 7200 we have to multiply the 2400 by 3
therefore multiply the 10% by 3 we get the result as 30%
