Jai ,sushil and raman had their collection of stamps in the ratio of 4: 5: 6, respectly.If raman had 186 stamps , how many stamps sushil had more than Jai.

stamps with Jai = 4x = 48

stamps with Sushil = 5x = 60

Sushil have 12 more stamps than Jai.

let rational constant = x  

a = 4x

b = 5x  

c = 6x  

4x+ 5x + 6x = 186  

15x = 186  

x = 12 (approx.)

stamps with Jai = 4x = 48

stamps with Sushil = 5x = 60

Sushil have 12 more stamps than Jai as 60 - 48 = 12
