  • Jake travelled 50 km towards the east,

  • From there, she travelled 80 km towards west.

⇒ To Find :-

  • How far is Jake from the starting point?​

⇒ Solution :-

  • Distance travelled towards east = 50 km

  • Distance travelled towards west = 80 km

  • ∴ Distance of Jake from starting point = 50 - 80

                                             = -30 [Distance can't be negative] 

 

                                             = 30
