jalaja,kamala and linda win rs 1000 in rangoli.they share price money as follows. jalaja takes rupees x.kamala gets twice as much as jalaja.linda share is rupees 230 less than kamala share.what is jalaja share.give solution and answer

Sol-

Let Jalaja's share be Rs x.

Then Kamala's share = Rs 2x

∴Linda's share=Rs (2x-230)

A.T.P,

x+2x+2x-230=1000

⇒5x=1000+230

⇒5x=1230

⇒x=1230/5

⇒x=246

∴Jalaja's share=Rs 246
