Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, popularly known as Dadasaheb Phalke (About this soundpronunciation (help·info)) (30 April 1870 – 16 February 1944), was an Indian producer-director-screenwriter, known as the Father of Indian cinema.[1] His debut film, Raja Harishchandra, was the first Indian movie released in 1913, and is now known as India's first full-length feature film. Jalaram Bapa (Gujarati: જલારામ બાપા) popularly known as Bapa (Gujarati: બાપા) (4 November 1799 (Samvat 1856) – 23 February 1881 (Samvat 1937)) was a Hindu saint from Gujarat, India. He was born on 4 November 1799,[1] one week after the Hindu festival of Diwali, which is associated with his Iṣṭa-devatā Lord Rama.He is worshipped mainly in Gujarat but his words and miracles have spread through the whole of India and even to many other Country's.
