jameel walked home, a distance of 3 km in 30 minutes. how fast did he walk?

Distance = 3 km Time =30 minutes =0.5 hrs
Therefore,speed of Jameel
=Distance/Time
=3/0.5
=3x10/5
=6 km/hr

Time taken = 30 mins = 30/(60)hr = 0.5 hr

Now, we know that,

speed \: v =  \frac{distance \: d}{time \: t}

∴ v = 3 / 0.5

∴ v = 3 × 10 / 5

∴ v = 30 / 5

∴ v = 6 km/hr
