more cards than Kelvin. How many cards does Kelvin have?​

Let Kelvin's picture cards be x

James' picture cards = x+300

x+x+300 = 2100

2x = 2100 - 300

2x = 1800

x = 900

James' picture cards = x+300

==> 900 + 300

==> 1200
