she could be thinking of 125 or 215 or 305.

all these numbers are a multiple of 5 but not a multiple of 10. all of them sum up to be 8 and are also three digit numbers. so these can be the numbers that Jamila thinks of.

hope this helps you...

Answer:

The numbers could be 125 and 215  OR  125 and 305  OR  215 and 305

Step-by-step explanation:

As it is given that number is a multiple of 5 and not 10

Let the number be abc

a b c

a is at hundreds place

b is at tens place

c is at ones place

So, a number to get divisible by 5, 5 must be at ones place.

Therefor, c = 5

Now in the question it is given that a + b + c = 8

a + b + 5 = 8

a + b = 8 - 5

a + b = 3

So, if a = 1, then b = 2. Number will be 125

   and if a = 2, then b = 1. Number will be 215

We cannot take a = 0 because the number should be 3 digit.

   if b = 0, then a = 3. Number will be 305

But we have to take only two different numbers. So, the numbers could be 125 and 215  OR  125 and 305  OR  215 and 305
